This guide outlines the steps to change the URL of your Telegram Mini App using BotFather. This process enables the integration of programmatic advertising, specifically through the Magfi Ad Network, allowing you to monetize your app.

Steps to Change Your Mini App URL​

  1. Start BotFather and List Your Apps:

    • Open the BotFather chat in Telegram.
    • Send the /myapps command. This will list all the bots and Mini Apps associated with your account.

  2. Select the Target Mini App:

    • From the list presented by BotFather, select the specific Mini App for which you want to change the URL.

  3. Edit the Web App URL:

    • In the app's management menu, click the 'Edit App' button.
    • Next, select the 'Edit Web App URL' option.
    • You will be prompted to enter the new URL. Type or paste the new URL where your Mini App's web content (including Magfi Ad Network integration) is hosted and send it.

Result and Benefit​

Once you complete these steps, your Telegram Mini App will start loading its content from the newly specified URL.

By pointing the Mini App to a URL you control (which hosts a web application), you can integrate the necessary SDKs or tags for the Magfi Ad Network.

This allows you to serve ads coordinated by Magfi directly within your Telegram Mini App interface, providing an effective way to monetize your application using their advertising solutions.
